Tables marked as “bad beat jackpot” tables at Absolute Poker take a small amount out of every pot and add it to the bad beat jackpot. This jackpot continues to grow until a player takes an extremely vicious bad beat and triggers the jackpot. Immediately after, a new jackpot begins growing.
If you lose with quad 8’s or better while playing at one of those tables, you’ll forget all about your bad beat because you will be the latest winner of the Absolute Poker bad beat jackpot. You’ll get the largest portion of the jackpot and then the rest will be split among the other players at the table.
Absolute Poker Bad Beat Jackpot Payouts
If you trigger the bad beat jackpot, the prize money will be rewarded according to the following guidelines:

Absolute Poker Bad Beat Jackpot Rules

1. You must be playing at a bad beat jackpot table to qualify.
2. Both players must use both hole cards.
3. Four or more players must have been dealt in and the hand must have been raked.

The main thing to remember here is that both players must use both hole cards. A bad beat does not count if one or both of the players only use one hole card.
