The biggest tournament of the series is the $1050 UBOC Championship event, which started this year at 4 PM ET on Sunday, January 31st. The event was hosted by Phil Hellmuth himself and had a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000. Players were able to buy in directly for $1050 or win their way in through satellite tournaments.

No limit Holdem will be the main game at the next UBOC but you’ll also find all types of other tournaments including HORSE, Pot Limit Omaha, PLO8, Heads-Up, Shorthanded, fixed limit and more.

Million Dollar Tournaments

There are two separate million dollar tournaments at the Absolute Poker UBOC. The first one is a $2600 deep stack 6-max tournament and the second one is the UBOC Championship event that we mentioned above. Both tournaments guarantee at least $1,000,000 in prize money.

A first place finish in either one of these babies will net you a six figure payday. These aren’t just average poker tournaments; these are life-changing events. If you win one of these, you’ll bet set for a very long time. Even if you don’t win, you can still take home some very nice paychecks with a strong finish at any UBOC event.

Absolute Poker UBOC Satellite Tournaments

If the buyins at some of the Absolute Poker UBOC events seem a little steep, there’s no need to worry. Absolute Poker also hosts many satellite tournaments in which you can win your way in to any UBOC event for free. You can get started for as little as a few dollars and win your way up to million dollar prize pools.

Satellite tournaments are special poker tournaments in which the prizes are free entry to bigger, more expensive tournaments. If you place well in a satellite tournament, you get to play in an even bigger tournament for free. This makes it so that you don’t have to miss out on big opportunities due to bankroll issues.

Mini UBOC Championship

You don’t have to be a high roller to take part in some serious poker action. The Mini-UBOC features all the same tournaments as the normal UBOC except the buyins are 10% the size of the normal UBOC buyins, with a maximum buyin of $30.
